Celebrate Summer Solstice

It's here! The longest day of the year. All that sunshine and light just calls for some serious fun. Today is a great day to:

• Make shadow art. Take any object and place it on a piece of black paper and put it in the sun for a few hours. Take the object off and see how it has left its shadow.
• Brew some homemade lemonade (have your kids "catch" some sunshine in jars to make it extra yummy)
• Use the Longest Day theme and have your kids measure your yard, their room, their legs and see just how long things really are!
• Let those kids stay up and see if they can beat the sun!
