Water Play: fishing games

I love having a small pool for my front yard. And my small kids love it too! I realize the kiddie pool maybe isn't super appealing to older kids...but here are some ways to jazz that up:

Feet Fishing: fish out a toy with toes, make it harder by fetching a floating item or a round one.

Bobbing For Balloons: blow up some small balloons and have those kids bring them back with their bites.

Elbow Ball: have tow or more kids around the outside of the pool, put a ball or balloon in the water and have the kids bonk it back and forth using their elbows. Silly fun!
