i know we are nearing the end of summer, but i think this next idea is sooo cute that i had to share it NOW and not wait til next summer starts! have you ever made a fabulously cute pillowcase dress? they have been around apparently since the dawn of the pillowcase itself, but i hadn't heard about them until my ciela was a toddler. find some instructions @ jenleheny or everythingsewingnet.com and you have a great activity to work on with your daughter or other beloved little chica, and a terrific place for those no longer needed cases. although, seriously, these are adorable enough to go out and find new cases to use!
