We love to make and eat all kinds of burritos in the Maravilla household. They are easy, tasty, inexpensive and healthy. And they involve beans which are a big favorite food of ours! Burrito's are my go to meal item when I need a quick meal or when I make a meal for someone. Here's how we rock the burrito:
- whole wheat tortillas
- refried or whole beans (pinto, black or homemade)
- 1 can or 2 small tomoates, chopped small
- 1/4-1/2 cup carrot, sweet potato or cauliflower puree, or a bit of each
- 1/2 cup salsa
- diced onion
- bbq sauce ( I know how gross it sounds but Christy and I will tell you how yummy these are just squeeze a bit on to the tortilla then top with beans)
