Watercolors are my most favorite paint for little kids. Easy clean up, no staining, and quick dry time. But after a while the colors get mixed up, cracked and the favorite colors disappear.
Making your own watercolors is super duper easy.
Water+Food Coloring or Jello= New Paint!
(I used 5-6 drops of food coloring or 1 T of Jello to 1/2 cup of water)
Bonus activity: when the artists have finished, let them mix the leftover colors together for some colorful water play!
