Tip Request

Reader Request #2

our second request is from korie, and has practically perfect timing! she would like help with freezer jam recipe's and i have to say YUMMY request! i only make strawberry freezer jam, and i always use the low-sugar variety of pectin, and double the fruit. i know it says on the directions not to, but since you are freezing it doesn't matter if the jam doesn't "set-up" as well, because you are freezing it! in the past i have substituted splenda (when we were using it), with excellent results! that is all of my knowledge, but i know you guys have way mare to help out korie so she can make the tastiest jam around!

use frozen strawberries! cheaper and riper berries and less work for you.
