Invest in Cloth

gettyimages.com

like the commercial says: it's time for an upgrade (with your shower)! it might seem a bit ridiculous to "invest" in your shower, but you should and you know what? you will love the payoff! what to do? buy a cloth liner instead of the plastic, dollar store variety. why? because when you rub against it you won't want to scream because of all the heeby jeebies you feel, AND you can wash it and it will look brand new again AND it lasts way longer than that trusty old plastic one. believe me, i know. i picked one up at target, and in fact i have 2, so that every other month i can super wash one and quickly put up the spare. mine have been going strong for almost 5 years now, and with no end in sight!

I second that! ALthough I found a nylon liner that I adore. I found mine on clearance at Wally World (Wal-mart) and it zips to the inside of my curtain. Zip off, wash, zip on, air dries in minutes! I also got my mom to make one since we couldn't find another. She bought some nylon fabric and is using velcro to attach it to a cool vintage bedspread she already had. (velcro's hook side attached to the spread) Very little sewing, pretty and so much better!
