put together an excellent mini explorer's kit (idea from family fun april '07) for your toddler or any-age child, by first grabbing a basket or bucket then:
* add a shovel or spoon for digging
* a magnifying glass for peering up close
*binoculars (make your own version by taping together 2 toilet paper tubes!)
*small baggies or containers, for "collecting"
*a book with native birds and flowers etc. to help you answer all the questions!
stash this handy basket near your door or outside by the toys for ready-made fun!
