72-hour kit containers

I put off organizing my 72-hour kit for a long time because I didn't know where to put all the necessary stuff that would allow my family to move it easily and quickly. Then I attended an Enrichment meeting a few years ago and my problem was solved. A rolling suitcase! Lucky for me, I happened to have a spare suitcase just the right size. Now, if needed, Patrick or I can wheel our families needs with us easily and without having to rely on our little kiddos to carry the burden.

*Do you have a different 72-hour kit container that works for your family?

Make sure you go through your 72 hour kit once a year and rotate(change out) your food items. When you gals were little this was something you all looked forward to doing because you got to eat as I replaced. Now Dad & I have that honor!!!!!

we now use 2 rolling suitcases, and 1 large backpack. although several people i know use a new, clean, large garbage can that rolls.

we use 5 gallon buckets. Then you can sit on them or use them as a potty if need be...
